In the second evening of our Migration Film series, a series of short documentaries will reveal the travels of our feathered friends and aquatic allies. While much remains unknown about the great animal migrations, some animal practices have been widely observed and many have been affected by human activity.
This program tells the tale of a few odd migrations in recent history as well as the eccentric individuals behind them.
Highlights include work by Matt McCormick (Portland, OR), Nellie Kluz, (Boston, MA), Bill Basquin (San Francisco, CA), and George Stoney (New York, NY).
There will be a discussion after the screening. Program length, approx. 70 mins.
