Every year Proteus Gowanus conducts an investigation to explore a single theme from September through July. This year, our theme is WATER. Join us in looking, reading, and talking as we use exhibitions, books, events and conversations to examine how water, the elemental elixir, dictates how and where we live.
Tammy Pittman, curator of Containment, the first exhibition of the WATER year, will host Proteoscope through December, writing and inviting others to write about the exhibition and related events. Proteoscope will also continue to report news and activities of our many Projects-In-Residence and community partners.
